Operate by Priorities

Want to maximise your day? Use a technique made famous by Andrew Carnegie. A time management expert told Andrew to first list everything that needed to be done the following day. Next, take time to number each task in order of importance. That night his mind will be silently at work rehearsing solutions for tomorrow’s tasks. When the new day arrives, work on task number one, until complete. Completion gives the confidence and satisfaction to move on to the next priority. By doing this, he always knows what to do next, and maximises his productivity by only focussing on the important tasks and not anything else.
